Learn the names of the poses in Sanskrit!

I will post pictures of some of the poses so you can see the names in Sanskrit. This is Chaturanga, not everyone’s favorite but I like it! The main points here is to keep the hips in line with the shoulders and keep the elbows at a 90 degree angle. That means elbows stacked over wrists and shoulders in line with elbows. Any underlying shoulder issues, this may be one to avoid and go straight to the floor. Dropping the knees on the mat can also make it easier to carry the weight.
