Trikonasana
Trikonasana or triangle pose is one of the first standing postures in the sequence. Legs and arms straight for this one, keeping the front of the body facing the side of the mat, one shoulder stacked on top of the other. A mistake commonly made in this pose is rounding too much through the spine which brings the body forward, we want to keep the spine as long as possible as we come down. If that means the bottom hand rests (without pressure) on the shin rather than catching the big toe, that’s where you stop in the pose.
